Suspend 37.3 grams of the medium in 600 ml of distilled water with 12 ml of Glycerol (do not add Glycerol if bovine bacilli or other glycerophobic organisms are going to be cultivated). Mix well and dissolve by heating with frequent agitation. Boil for one minute until complete dissolution. Dispense into appropriate containers and sterilize in autoclave at 121°C for 15 minutes. Cool to 45-50ºC. Meanwhile, prepare one liter of whole eggs, aseptically obtained and swirled to mix without introducing air bubbles. Add the egg slowly to the base to obtain a homogeneous mixture without bubbles. Distribute into screw-capped tubes. Place the tubes in a slanted position. Inspissate at 85 - 90°C for 45 minutes to coagulate the medium.
