Packaging
Suspend 63 grams of the medium in 950 ml of distilled water. Mix well and dissolve by heating with frequent agitation. Boil for one minute until complete dissolution. Sterilize in autoclave at 121ºC for 15 minutes. Cool to 45-50ºC and aseptically add 50 ml of Tellurite Egg Yolk Emulsion (Cat. 5129). Homogenize gently and dispense into Petri dishes. The base without additive can be kept for long periods of time and can be melted as needed.
